This means clinicians’ daily job involves assessing, diagnosing, and writing goals for students which parallel their education and training. Daily therapy and paperwork get delegated to other staff and team members, which also parallels the students’ training. Many of our districts have implemented this, so what does this mean for you? When interviewing for jobs, it is just as important to know the population you prefer to work with and whether you want to work directly with students for therapy or as a team with parents and assistants.
