Happy Fall! Welcome to yet another exciting school year!
How are you doing so far? The past months may have been one of the most exhausting moments of our entire career. As you know, unprecedented times require immediate sensible action. We hopped on various zoom meetings, created contingency plans, talked about school re-openings, not to mention the stressful news and social media content. Through your tireless efforts, here we are, currently facing an entirely different set-up than what we had from previous years.
In between preparations and schools reopening, we hope you are able to take some time off and recharge! We have encountered an inspiring post from nassp.com by Ross Ricenbaw, principal at Waverly Middle School in Waverly, Nebraska. He is the 2019 Nebraska Principal of the Year.
Sea Glass and Hope: Reflections for the Year to Come
“Find your beach. Find your gems: Be on the lookout for ideas and innovation from your colleagues and staff. Treasure them. Take time to unplug: Find peace in order to stay refreshed for your students and staff.” – Ross Ricenbaw
We are not affiliated with the author or organization mentioned in the article. We thought that we all need some dose of inspiration to stay positive and hopeful that better days are coming! Educators, therapists, and clinicians might be thankless jobs in the world, but know that throughout your student’s lifetime, you are appreciated and loved!
